Quick Update!

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to write up a quick update on the goings on.

First off, I'm sure you have noticed the lackluster reviews lately. I am sorry about that, but from October til the end of the year is extremely busy for my family. With birthdays and holidays, it is hard to sit down and write out fully detailed reviews. Once the first of the year arrives, life will slow down a bit and I will be more organized and hopefully have many more reviews and giveaways for ya'll! So please in the mean time be patient with me as I get through the busy holiday season!

::REVIEW:: Professional Jumbo Lemon Squeezer

I LOVE trying out new kitchen gadgets! Especially ones that help make simple tasks easier. My hands aren't very strong so using this lemon squeezer makes the job of getting all the juice out super easy!

The holidays are a busy time for cooking, and anything that's helpful in the kitchen is great!

I'm not a master chef by any means, so this was my first time using a juicer of any kind. I have small hands and I felt very comfortable using this squeezer. It worked very well and I didn't feel like I had to put too much work into it.

If you are in the market for a lemon. lime, etc. juicer and don't want to have a huge gadget, then this is perfect. It fits in perfectly with your spoons and other small kitchen equipment.

::REVIEW:: Small Packing Organizer

I was lucky enough to get to review these large packing cubes from Dot & Dot!

There was 4 cubes in the set and they came in a nice plastic carrying case.

I was very impressed with how big they really were, and even more impressed at the fact that it opened fully and not just partially.

The feel of these packing cubes are a little misleading cause the material is fairly thin, but extremely durable. I was able to put quite a bit in there and I still had room to spare. 

If you are one like me who loves to have things organized, then these packing cubes are perfect. The see through mesh also helps with knowing what's in them without having to constantly open them.

They come in multiple colors so you can color coordinate with your luggage.

I had a chance to review these glow sticks.

I have 3 small children, so I was super excited to be able to test these out cause I knew they would have fun with them.

They are super easy to "activate". Just bend to break and watch them "turn on".
They were a little stiff when I tried to bend them into the bracelets, but I think it's just my fear of them breaking.

If you need glow sticks that last a long time and you need plenty of them, then this is definitely the way to go!

I loved having the opportunity of reviewing the leather cleaner and conditioner. I have two leather sofas and they get a lot of use!

When I first got chosen to review this I had no clue how small this scale would actually be. I love how portable this thing is. Most women carry around big purses and this would definitely fit in one of those bigger purses with no problem.

It came with 2 plastic covers. One for the back and one for the front. It is super lightweight and very sleek. It calculates weight in 6 different measurements ( g, OZ, OZT, dwt, GN, and CT ).

::REVIEW:: Phantom Fit Wrist Wraps

I was really interested in trying these wrist straps. I have tried a product from Phantom Fit previously and I thought it was a great product. 

I'm not an expert in working out, but I figured these straps would give me some stabilization in my wrists for other activities. 

They have little thumb straps on them to make it easier to wrap it around your wrists without asking for help or getting into weird positions. 

I have fairly weak wrists so I need some support when I do anything that involves lifting. These straps gives me the right amount of support without being too stiff or uncomfortable.

If you are into weight lifting or are looking for some kind of wrist supports that aren't overly uncomfortable then these are for you.

I was chosen to review the Argan Oil Hair Mask from Insta Natural. As a person who colors and blow dries and straightens my hair, I need a good moisturizer to keep up with the damaging affects of it all. I was really excited to be able to try this cause I have always wanted to try out a hair mask.

::REVIEW:: Eco at Heart Stainless Steel Drinking Straws

I was chosen to review these cool stainless steel drinking straws made by Eco at Heart. This was definitely a new experience for me. I, like most people, are used to using regular plastic straws. The Eco at Heart straws are reusable stainless steel, to keep waste at a minimum.

I for one love the packaging they come in. You can tell by the feel of the box it is made of recycled materials. There are 5 straws in the pack plus a cleaning brush for easy cleaning.
I wondered what it would be like the first time I tried it since I'm so used to a soft plastic straw. It took a little bit to get used to, but they are great straws.
The fun thing about these straws is that you can put them in the freezer to keep them cold, so when you use it in your drink it will also help to keep your beverage cold as well.

There is really not much else I can say about these straws except that I love them and use them frequently. Eco at Heart did a great job making these. Bravo on this environmentally friendly product.

I was chosen to review Vacay water enhancer. As with all products that claim to work their magic, I go into it being very skeptical. It took me a while to work up the nerve to try it, because honestly I was afraid of how it would taste.

It came in this cute little package, claiming it held 10 servings. Wow, that's impressive, but after reading the instructions, it only take 1/2 teaspoon per 8oz. of water.
